Bharatnatyam Session

 – A special Bharatanatyam session was conducted by Yuvika Didi. The session was a beautiful blend of learning and appreciating our cultural.
– Yuvika Didi, an experienced Bharatanatyam dancer of 8 years, began the session with a short introduction to significance of the word “Bharatanatyam”, one of the oldest classical dance forms of India.
– The session included a demonstration of basic adavus (steps) and postures.Yuvika Didi patiently guided the girls through the movements, focusing on the movements of hand, and feet, She also introduced a few common mudras .
– Four girls were chosen to perform a small choreography on 29th of June on the occasion of founder’s day. So she chose Tanu ,Veda,Gauri and Sampada.
– Overall, the Bharatanatyam session was an enriching experience that helped girls to get to know about cultural heritage and sparked interest in classical dance.
– We thank Yuvika Didi for sharing her knowledge and inspiring us with her art.
