– The children of Shaktii were taken on an educational visit to Altres Technologies with the objective of familiarizing them with corporate life and work culture. The entire visit was arranged by Sir Sriram Dharmadhikari, ensuring a well-structured and meaningful experience for the children. Upon arrival at the company, breakfast arrangements were made for the children. Following this, Sir Sachin Bagal and Vidya Raghavan ma’am briefed the children about Altres Technologies, its establishment in Mumbai in 2016, its workforce of 107 employees, its head office in Hawaii, and the overall functioning of the organization.
– The children were then addressed by Sir Suvi Kulkarni the CIO, who encouraged them and motivated them to explore future career possibilities. The session was interactive, and the children were encouraged to ask questions, all of which were patiently answered. After this, the children were taken on a guided tour of the company, where they were introduced to various departments. They were shown how payroll systems work, given an overview of coding, and explained how coding functions in real-world corporate settings.
– Post the tour, the Shaktii girls presented on two women scientists, creative mathematics, Shaktii values, review of The Blue Umbrella and performed the Shaktii song. To conclude the visit, Altres Technologies organized a fun quiz for the children, followed by gift distribution. The visit ended with the children being dropped back safely in a bus owned by Altres Technologies. Overall, the children thoroughly enjoyed the experience and returned happy, inspired, and enriched by their exposure to the corporate environment.
